ruscle, ruscle+one, susans, blue drop
Yesterday the Coachella Kossacks had our very first meet up in Palm Desert. It really was not as painful as I thought it would be, on the contrary I really enjoyed not having to guard my tongue as far as politics is concerned. What freedom. To be able to say what you think and not deal with Limbaugh quoting neighbors.
Thank you susans for coming out to meet us, I know that is along drive, even on a Saturday. Your input was invaluable and you gave us a lot to think about. And some very good ideas about how to grow our community.
The only thing we failed to do was agree on a date and place for our next meeting. Suggestions?
Since I promised to send directions on adding a link to your signature, and I found it too difficult without using images, I have decided to add them here, below the fold.
Same cast as above, but with me taking the other Susan's place.
How To Add a Link to Your Signature
1. Click
EDIT PROFILE up on the right hand side of your screen, under your name, in the Welcome Back Box. (I use Command click to open it in a new tab, I don't remember the way to do it in Explorer, Chrome or Firefox.)

Scroll down the page until you get here:

There are two ways to add a hyperlink to your signature. The simplest is to just type in the web address that you wish to link to surrounded by the appropriate html tag;
Coachella Kossaks would have this typed before the URL: < a href=" URL GOES HERE "> The name would be typed next, Coachella Kossaks followed by the closing tag: < /a>
In order for this to show up I had to leave a space after the <. Those spaces would need to be removed in order for the link to work.
There is another, easier way for those who are nervous about writing their own code. Open a New Diary. Type the words you want to use in your signature line into the Intro. Highlight those words, click Link

Add the URL for the site you wish to link to, and click Add:

And then copy the line shown in the INTRO

And paste it into Signature box on your profile page:

Most important and easiest to forget, scroll to bottom and click on
SAVE.
