By promoting the Democratic Progressive values of fairness and equality for all:
As you see at the end of the ad, it is paid for by the Goddard For Secretary of State campaign. That would be Terry Goddard, candidate for Arizona Secretary of State.
The couple in the ad are talking the hateful AZ Senate Bill 1062, which would have allowed discrimination based on "deeply held religious beliefs". Republican legislators passed that POS legislation, but it thankfully did not become law because it was vetoed by Gov. Jan Brewer, who has had a change of heart toward fairness at the end of her term. Actually, there was significant backlash from national groups and the Arizona business community, and even a suggestion that there could be a passing over of Arizona for a Superbowl if this became law. But I'll give Jan a break, as she was one of the very few Republican Governors who embraced the Expanded Medicaid of the Affordable Care Act, and fought tooth and nail to get it passed by the heavily Republican state legislature. And it is a HUGE success, with hundreds of thousands of Arizonans finally having access to quality, affordable health care.
But back to Terry Goddard's campaign ad. According to TPM, he plans to spend "six figures" on this ad. It would seem to be a "double down", as his campaign released an internal poll earlier this month that showed him leading 47 percent to 31 percent. But that's how Democrats win elections - stand up for what your know is right, and hit the Republicans where it hurts, highlighting their hateful, hypocritical votes against LGBT equality! Hit them over the head for their opposition to raising the minimum wage to a living wage! Punch 'em in the gut for their senseless, cowardly opposition to sensible gun control, such expanding background checks to "gun shows"! Take pride in their support for the Affordable Care Act and shame their opponents' opposition to Expanded Medicaid and their 50+ votes to Repeal & Defund "Obamacare"!

That is all.
