Come oh come ye tea-thirsty restless ones -- the kettle boils, bubbles and sings, musically. ~ Rabindranath Tagore
Waiting...
Shoveling, snow-throwing, and salt-spreading have been pretty time-consuming, but I thought you all wouldn't mind if I was brief this week. Groundhog forecasts from Monday were mixed; Staten Island Chuck is nearest to me, and has apparently predicted an early spring. I have no confidence at all in this forecast, but then, as we know, Staten Island Chuck is a complicated web of lies to begin with. Now, Wisconsin groundhogs are pushing back against the government, to the surprise of no one here.
A blessed Imbolc to our Wiccan friends, and to everyone else, comfort: warm shelter if it's cold, life-giving rain if it's dry. Light and healing to all.
And greetings from your pal, snowed-in Baby Tree.

Kitchen Table Kibitzing is a community series for those who wish to share part of the evening around a virtual kitchen table with kossacks who are caring and supportive of one another. So bring your stories, jokes, photos, funny pics, music, and interesting videos, as well as links—including quotations—to diaries, news stories, and books that you think this community would appreciate. Readers may notice that most who post diaries and comments in this series already know one another to some degree, but newcomers should not feel excluded. We welcome guests at our kitchen table, and hope to make some new friends as well.
