First the question. On the new iPhone, is the feature that produces the bit of advertising snottery at the bottom of the email automatic or customer activated? I ask this not as a stupid question but because I will never own another Apple device and I don't know. It seems that if you're using one, you're already doing better than most of America simply due to the price.
What I'm wondering is, if it's automatic it's understandable. It is 'no tax payin', child labor exploitin' Apple after all. But... and I know I'll dodging pies for this... why would liberal progressive people working hard to right the income inequality problem in this country want to rub the rest of our noses in the fact that we can't afford brand new shiny iphones?
Case in point is the email I received from Julia Brownley, asking for donations. At the bottom it says 'sent From Julia's ipad'. This seems to imply that it's customer activated but that might be something the Apple tech does when activating the phone/pad, once again, I don't know. Can it be turned off? Before I accuse iusers of being elitist, I'd like to be on the informed end.
Either way, I can't vote for her. Odd, but when Loretta Sanchez emails me it's signed 'Loretta Sanchez' not Loretta's iPhone.
