I mowed the lawn yesterday,
for the first time this year.
I hung a load of laundry on the backyard clothesline.
I daydream as I do these things.
Some of yesterday's daydreams,
below the divider doodle.
I read some things from here at Daily Kos,
between mowing the lawn
and hanging up the clothes.
But I can't write what I was thinking about,
because too many folks here
will fail to understand
what I write.
Let me try this:
Let's start with the wisdom of Meteor Blades' sig line:
Don't tell me what you believe.
Show me what you do,
and I'll tell you what you believe.
With that in mind:
A Jew, a Christian, and a Muslim
walked into a bar.
They did no harm to each other,
or to any women,
or to any black folks.
In fact,
they encouraged folks,
with friendly conversation,
asking about ups and downs
others were living,
and offering sympathetic ears,
and words of hope.
Even passed the hat,
and got some money together
for someone in urgent need.
That Jew was not a Jew,
that Christian was not a Christian,
That Muslim was not a Muslim.
They were all bigjac people,
since they did what I like to see.
On the flip side of all that,
anyone who harms others,
with aggressive actions,
attacking and killing,
raping,
torturing,
screaming in anger,
inciting more anger....
None of those folks are
Jews,
Christians,
Muslims,
or anything else they want to be called.
They are monsters.
So,
if you observe anyone
writing bad things about any monsters,
please do not get confused,
and think such comments are about
Jews,
Christians,
Muslims,
white folks,
cops,
or any other label.
Those who complain
about the actions of monsters,
seem sensible to me.
They just forgot to tell you,
they were writing about
monsters,
and you got confused.
I hope this helps you understand things better.
Thanks for reading.
