Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, the guy who has
sought to protect religious-based discrimination against LGBT Americans, now hopes they feel perfectly welcome in his state. Amanda Terkel
reports on a letter he issued in advance of the Indianapolis Pride Festival:
"On behalf of the people of Indiana, welcome to Indianapolis," Pence wrote in the letter released this week. "I am confident that those of you who traveled from out of state will come to know our famous Hoosier Hospitality."
Don't undersell yourself Mike—you're not just "famous,"
you're infamous. But it's pretty hard to imagine LGBT Americans racing to Indiana for Pride.
