Saw this recent Politico report headlined
"Wall Street fears leftward swerve by Hillary Clinton"
Quite frankly this article is BS... Part of the political Kabuki theater that is our plutocratic rule.
The only thing that really scares the plutocracy is a candidate who doesn't move or swerve. The candidate that tacks and reshapes their opinions easily will do the same thing once he/she is tucked safely back inside the Washington bubble. Once the army Goldman Sachs alumni and lobbyists, who have impressive degrees and can tell you "for sure" just how to run the economy* have his/her ear again... forget about it. Once those big campaign checks get cashed, he/she will swerve right back "home" to the comfort of our broken (but lucrative) big money political system. Does any one on this blog really think Wall Street or the Banks are quaking in their boots at the thought of a Clinton Presidency?
Come on. - More below
(*economic advice of Goldman Sachs Alum may be hazardous to your nation)
Simply google "Clinton moves left" or "Clinton moves right" You'll find no shortage of political writers and pundits describing one or more policy position changes.
Do the same for Bernie Sanders.... (go ahead I'll wait) Now that scares Wall Street; an unwavering progressive who's declared he'd like the big banks broken up.
The're two kinds of funny:
Funny cause it true (based on some truth) -

and funny cause it's completely absurd :

All I can say to this community is support the candidate who best aligns with your views on:
-PACs / Election finance
-Military Spending
-Healthcare
-The Banking System.
-Unions and Trade Agreements
-LGBTQ rights
Etc.
Do not believe those who say "he can't win" These are the same people who said Obama couldn't win in 2008. When people learn about Bernie they love him :

Quite frankly ANY Democrat will win against the anyone in the GOP field, but Bernie (in the absence of Warren) give us the best chance to make real change happen.
Feel the Bern!
12:38 AM PT: To clarify; if after the primary Hillary is in fact the nominee (Don't think she will be). I'll vote for her, I'll make some calls for her to key states, and I'll even post pro Hillary blogs here. Because The alternative is too awful for words. But I really feel this primary is going to come down to how much progressives believe in their grass roots power. I was an early supporter of Obama and canvassed for him in 5 states back in 2008. I was totally disappointed when he appointed another Goldman Sachs guy as his treasury secretary right off the bat. Then failed to mobilized the grass roots army during the Health care debates. Obama could have driven home a single payer system if he used the bully pulpit and his supporters to pressure Lieberman and Nelson. He seemed to say to his grass roots supporters thank for getting me elected I'll take it from here. 2008 was a hugely important election in showing the progressive base it's grass roots power. We got a black guy named Barrack Husein Obama elected president when every pundit and odds maker on the planet said he had zero chance. We said "screw all your name recognition, and snap polling; we need someone who was right on the biggest calamity of our time (Iraq)" and we drove him to the nomination. Now we face two big problems as nation Money controlling our politics, and Wall street still largely unregulated with banks to big to fail. Bernie is better on both these issues it's just a matter of whether we believe in ourselves to do the "impossible" again. Bernie seems to understand our power : https://firstlook.org/...
