Gibson's retirement obviously offers Democrats a unique opportunity. For all that Republicans have a 2-1 edge in enrollment if the district, we don't have to look back very far to see a Democratic victory here. (I'm referring here to Kirsten's big wins). The fact is, if we find a really attractive candidate, we can win, here in the 19th. All we need is a really attractive candidate and a nice war chest to help him along.
What I want to know now FAST, is is there any district-wide system to help recruiting?
Is there any district-wide progressive vehicle for doing politics here? The old trueblue was damn good. Can we get it started again?
