GBCW diaries are not normally permitted here, but when it is from the "loyal opposition," I figure it's okay. More below the orange puff of smoke at RedState.
Erick Erickson, founder of RedState, has chosen to leave, to pursue a radio career. He is selling his blog to Eagle Publishing, the owners of Twitchy.
Erickson's post at RedState
I would have never gotten to this point without all of you. You are family. For years I have said RedState is my second wife and my third child. But after ten years of getting up at 4 o’clock in the morning and staying up past midnight and spending all day checking emails and responding to people, I really just want my one wife. And I want my third child to be grow up and be all it can be without being in my shadow.
I am not sure why so many conservatives equate everything with polygamy. Moreover, he says RedState is his "second wife and his third child." Do they also marry their children?
Anyway, he intends to step down at the end of the year. He says it's time for Erick to be Erick and RedState to be RedState. Good luck with that. . . .
I have a village board meeting to attend in an hour, so I will catch up on the comments when I get back.
