Navy injects "vaccine" that will turn this recruit into Captain America!
In good news for science and the health and welfare of Californians, an attempt to repeal California's recent
mandatory vaccination law has failed to get the signatures required to
put it on the 2016 ballot.
County election clerks reported receiving fewer than 234,000 of the 366,000 signatures needed to ask California voters to repeal the law, according to figures provided to the secretary of state's office and posted online Thursday. The new state law struck down the state's personal belief exemption for immunizations, a move that requires nearly all public schoolchildren to be vaccinated.
Supporters of the initiative turned in the signatures they had gathered at the county level last week. Thursday was the deadline the state to provide an official count. Six counties reported they received the petitions after the Sept. 28 deadline for submission.
Here are a couple of things to note:
The leading proponent of the repeal effort, former Republican Assemblyman Tim Donnelly, previously signaled in an email to supporters that the initiative was unlikely to qualify.

The bill's author, Sen. Richard Pan, a Democrat, has said he believed the vast majority of Californians supported the law. Pan, a pediatrician who faced intense opposition, including death threats and a possible recall effort, welcomed the ballot initiative's stumble.
[my emphasis]
One of them is a doctor. For children. A doctor, whose specialty and focus in medicine is directed specifically at children. Those opposing the bill? Republican Tim Donnelly, and people threatening to kill people. Besides trying to get publicity for this, Donnelly is a founder of the Minutemen Project. They say "dont' judge a book by its cover." Well, I'm judging it. One of the pieces of sludge that seeped out of the Minutemen Project is the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps...you can see their totally insane website here.
Who do you think is full of shit? The pediatrician or the guy who's clearly full of shit?
