To All Democratic and Democratic-Leaning Voters
Most of you know that I am running to become the youngest female President of the United States. Campaigning for president is hard work and I didn’t get to where I am without the help of dedicated volunteers like Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL). The countless hours spent by her and others in support of my historic candidacy is something I am deeply appreciative of.
Her brilliant leadership has ensured that the Democratic National Committee adhere to the highest standards of ethics and honesty. In that regard, Ms. Schultz has set an example that will be hard to eclipse by future DNC chairs. If you look up the words “honest” and “impartial” in the dictionary, you’ll see photographs of Ms. Schultz. I should add that throughout the 1990s, Bill and I only believed in — and always engaged in — politics in which ethics and integrity were essential ingredients. That fact is undeniable.
I look forward to receiving your vote in Iowa, New Hampshire, and the other states and territories. Together, we will build a bridge to the 20th century.
Yours sincerely,
Hillary Rodham Clinton
