On Monday, December 7th, Fox News suspended two of it's talking heads, Stacy Dash and Ralph Peters for using profanity (not the associated hate speech) on air. Dash had viewers clutching their pearls when she said “shit” on air, and Peters had them nearly fainting when he dared use the word “pussy.” However, when equally stupid Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the very next day, used her segment to teach young children to charge at active shooters, all is well in Fox News land. For those of you who missed it, Hasselbeck's segment actually taught children that they should use martial arts moves to charge and disarm active shooters. (Experts recommend evacuating or hiding so as to avoid getting killed.)
First of all, I would like to say congratulations to Elizabeth Hasselbeck! You are more than the average asshole, because you are a sociopathic monster! You would even risk the lives of innocent children! That puts you in the highest rungs of all the assholes that have ever lived in all of time! Good job having no humanity left!
Second of all, I would like to point out that the entire segment was terrifying bullshit. No amount of martial arts moves in the world can ward off bullets. Even if you practice every single day, in the battle between flesh and bullets, bullets will always win. Real life is not a James Bond movie. So use your damned brain and DON’T CHARGE AT ACTIVE SHOOTERS - EVER!!!!
For the sake of the innocent children, one would only hope that even Fox News Viewers would be smart enough not to encourage their own kids to follow Hasselbeck’s advice (fingers crossed). But the question remains, why were Dash and Peters suspended but Hasselbeck wasn’t? Or, why would the use of profanity run the higher risk of alienating a network’s viewers than its trivialization of children’s lives and safety? One may even think that Fox News is trying to use its influence to intentionally make martyrs, even out of children, because it would be great for their own ratings. If a major network can get away with encouraging children to risk their own lives for the sake of pushing an agenda, and this is less offensive than curse words, then exactly how radicalized are we?
For the record to Fox News and its audience of evil fools, profanity is really not that big a deal! Look, I’ll prove it. FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, and FUCK! And still, no one’s even dead or injured. Charging at an active shooter, on the other hand, would most likely lead to death or severe injury. And let’s not forget that we are talking about the lives of innocent children here. So please Fox News and the monsters and simpletons who support it, get your fucking priorities in order!
