This guy is a joke. He doesn't seem to realize that Iran is a Shiite nation and the rebels who control SANA in YEMEN are Sunni, and they are enemies and the depth of their hatred for each other is beyond belief. Tehran is the capital of Iran so what is his point? The other three he got right, since they are all Shiite controlled areas or have a large Shiite areas in them. But he seems to totally overlook the fact that Iran is fighting very hard to put ISIS and Al Quida down. The only real Iraqi success has been the one that was run by the Iranians at Tekrit. I don't know who this guy is but he really needs to get to a library and bone up on:
Middle Eastern Geography
Islamic History
and Iranian History.
And lest not forget the fact that if it weren't for Ronald Reagan the Iranians would have turned over the hostages back in 79 or early 80 and we might have had a realistic dialogue with them, Also Mr. Cotton seems to forget that the Iranians were as aghast as the events of 9-11 as we were, and they offered to assist us in capturing bin Laden as did the Taliban. But what the hell, better to go to war than to obtain your foreign policy goals via diplomacy. I mean look at all the profit that we would have given up by not going to war. Right?
Let's face it people this guy is the new face of the WAR Party in Congress. We have gotten so tired of hearing John McCain singing Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran, that the Republican War Hawks found a new, youthful war veteran to carry on as John boy McCain slowly fades into the AZ desert sunset. And you can take this to the bank. That is exactly what this radical right wing war hawk ideologue is doing. He is the new voice of the War with (fill in the blank) because they scare the hell out of him. And if these guys have their way this country will be in a never ending war in the middle east and southern Asia for the next 100 years. Maybe Tom Cotton should read a history of France's Louis XIV and his son Louis XV and grand son Louis XVI to get a better understanding of the results of waging incessant war.
