We are going to soon see an uninterrupted series of Republican "Debates" among the latest group of Candidates for the GOP nomination for president. None of them have anything new to offer!
The News Media, The MSM, The Liberal Media Establishment, Whatever YOU would choose to call IT will express dismay that Ms. Hillary Clinton is running unopposed, or that she is not being "Vetted" by the Media Circus, excuse me "Debates", that we have come to expect in our Presidential Nominating campaigns.
Let me propose what I would love to see Ms. Clinton provide for the American voters. Join me below the Orange squiggle for more.
I would like to see Ms. Clinton go into every primary and caucus state, before every caucus and primary, and present to the voters a Vision of what the Democratic Party offers that is different from the Shutdown and Obstruction that is offered by the GOP.
I would like to see Ms. Clinton offer a series of Seminars, inviting Democratic leaders and opinion makers to discuss our nation's future. What I would love to see in Iowa, to begin the process is for Ms. Clinton to take the stage with Elizabeth Warren, Robert Reich, Howard Dean, Martin O'Malley, Bernie Sanders, a few local Iowa Democratic leaders and engage in a Democratic roundtable discussion of Social Security, fair taxes, foreign policy, healthcare and other issues.
Then, I would like to see Ms. Clinton go to New Hampshire. Invite some local New Hampshire leaders and other national figures. Discuss issues. Don't make this a forum for soundbites like we will see on the GOP Clown Car stage. Let Hillary Clinton make this an interview forum for Ms. Clinton to meet people and discuss her ideas and also, more importantly, Ms. Clinton will have an opportunity to interview people who will make up her cabinet in the Administration after the election.
Let's show the voters the difference in how Democratic leaders and politicians can discuss issues, respect differences and provide constructive governmental solutions to real problems that affect people.
Let's allow Ms. Clinton to introduce local Democratic leaders and politicians and restructure local politics. Let's take back state houses and legislatures! Let's restructure a 50 State strategy to make the government work for ALL people, and not something that is owned by the wealthiest among us to further enrich themselves.
