Readers' Choice discussion: What topics/issues/conditions would you like to see covered in future diaries? If you're thinking of writing, what health matters would you cover? Would you like to find a partner to collaborate with, or a joint publication with another group? Summer schedule- related things are fair game as well, as would goofy open thread topics for the 1st Sunday of each month.
Y'all may be aware that I'm going to have to be away from the computer for upcoming big chunks of time in the next couple of weeks. Maybe if we plan a little bit, we can minimize disruption. This is the place for all manner of suggestions, reserve-my-spot-'cause-I'm-writing-about-fillintheblank-onthisdate.
My part of it has been complicated this week by a broken rib or three, crepitus and crunchy sounds, due to a defective pair of flip-flops, so I'm self-splinting as I read your suggestions and wishlist.. It's a little hard to think at the moment, but the diary will be the documentation that becomes a bit of a blueprint as to what to do next.
KosAbility is a Sunday 7 pm Eastern/4 pm Pacific volunteer diarist community of, by & for people living with disabilities, who love someone with a disability, or who want to know more about the issues. Our use of "disability" includes temporary as well as permanent health/medical conditions, and small, gnawing problems as well as major, life-threatening ones. Our use of "love someone" extends to cherished members of other species.
Our discussions are open threads in the context of this community. Feel free to comment on the diary topic, ask questions of the diarist or generally to everyone, share something you've learned, tell bad jokes, post photos, or rage about your situation. Our only rule is to be kind; trolls will be spayed or neutered. If you are interested in contributing a diary, contact series coordinator postmodernista.
