Whatever it was that brought Minority Leader Pelosi to return to her values & priorities on Friday when she spoke for voters, it was a welcome surprise. And of great importance.
Hillary Clinton offered no assistance to the trade deal that day either, repeating the need to protect jobs, wages and middle class:

Pelosi: 'New paradigm' needed on trade http://thehill.com/....

From CPATH, Center for Policy Analysis on Trade and Health:
"Minority leader Nancy Pelosi closed the debate by asserting that American workers would rather have jobs than “job assistance,” and said she’d vote against both this part of bill, and the Fast Track/TPA provision, to “slow down” the process:
“'Each week, each of us goes home to our districts. And in the case of many of us, we put our hand on a very hot stove. We hear the concerns of so many families who have financial instability and uncertainty... threatened with the loss of their homes, jobs, pensions, having to live on their savings, the inability to send their kids to college, all of it undermining the American dream. How do we say to these people: we are here for you, you are our top priority, when the impression that they have is that this is not a good deal for them?'"
5:46 PM PT: Caveat: Pelosi talked about "slowing" Fast Track.
For Congress to have any input to the treaty, a NO vote on Fast track is necessary.
For TPP to be defeated, Fast Track has to be defeated first.
5:53 PM PT: Caveat: Nancy Pelosi talked about "slowing down" the march to Fast Track.
However for congress to have any input whatsoever, such as amendments, Fast Track has to be defeated. That's a NO vote majority.
And for TPP to be defeated, Congress needs to first defeat Fast Track.
Tue Jun 16, 2015 at 7:30 AM PT: The Fast Track bill that passed the Senate is now stalled in the House. Speaker Boehner will not bring it to the floor today as it would be defeated.
Dem Rep Sandy Levin has said: The Hatch-Wyden-Ryan Fast Track bill "puts Congress in the back seat and greases the skids for an up-or-down vote after the fact.”
