I am not one of those who considers that Hillary is as good as nominated. However, I think that enough people do so consider that there must be many out there thinking about the VP slot on a Hillary ticket.
I have earlier proposed Bill Richardson, but comments were that he carries onerous baggage in the form of an erstwhile out-of-wedlock love-interest scandal (which I discount), bad blood between him and Hillary's Bill stemming from Richardson's abandoning Hillary for Barack in the 2008 primary (which I think is way exaggerated at this point in time), and, last but not least, a horribly complex pending (in litigation likely to last into the 2020s) pay-to-play scandal - which last really is a problem. My thinking about Richardson, on the positive side, is that he can easily whup that Bush boy in any Spanish-speaking contest. That is, Bill R. could assure that the huge and growing population of American voters with Mexican roots turn out by the tens of millions in 2016.
Now, based on regular emails from Tom Udall (senior senator from - where else? - New Mexico), I propose that the leading VP contender is Udall. I can't think that I am the only one who gets email without ever initiating or returning contact with Udall and having no connection with New Mexico and being located at least about a thousand miles from Albuquerque ... so based on frequent emails (never mentioning the possibility of a national ticket connection), I propose that Udall is running for VP.
What y'all think?
