Scott Walker again finds himself in a bind of his own making when David Cameron denied that he criticized President Obama when they met.
Trouble from a trip Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) took to Europe earlier this year has chased him back over to this side of the Atlantic, despite his best efforts. The 2016 contender is dodging questions about a story he recently told in which British Prime Minister David Cameron criticized Present Obama when Walker met with the PM in February -- a story the prime minister's office is now disputing.
"I'm just not going to comment on individual meetings I had with leaders like that, be it there or anyone else," Walker said, according to the Journal Sentinel, while on a press call regarding his current trip to Canada. "That's something I'm not going to do going forward."
Walker makes Mitt Romney look like a diplomat. Its one thing to criticize the Brits handling of the olympics, but its another thing to tell an outright lie about a foreign leader. Still its not like Scott Walker to do that…
Oh wait!
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's tale of how he came to hold the family Bible that President Ronald Reagan used when taking the oath of office doesn't match the memory of the presidential library curator charged with caring for the book.
Scott Walker is touting himself as the second coming of Ronald Reagan (better known here as Zombie Reagan to all the non kool-aid-drinkers). He should be called out louder than he has been for his BS. After all he is a top contender for the republican nomination. The GOP electorate is much smarter than to let a bloating, lying megalomaniac like Walker anywhere near the white house.
Oh wait!
Our country is in serious trouble. We don't have victories anymore. We used to have victories, but we don't have them. When was the last time anybody saw us beating, let's say, China in a trade deal? They kill us. I beat China all the time. All the time.
(APPLAUSE)
AUDIENCE MEMBER: We want Trump. We want Trump.
TRUMP: When did we beat Japan at anything? They send their cars over by the millions, and what do we do? When was the last time you saw a Chevrolet in Tokyo? It doesn't exist, folks. They beat us all the time.
When do we beat Mexico at the border? They're laughing at us, at our stupidity. And now they are beating us economically. They are not our friend, believe me. But they're killing us economically.
The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else's problems.
(APPLAUSE)
God help us!
