Trying to figure out who to vote for during a judicial race is harder than finding a needle in a haystack. As always, if you're aware of something that I didn't find, add it in the comments. Thanks.
Frank George is running for County Judge, Group One, against Eric DuBois.
Frank George declared his candidacy last month; for the month of June his campaign had received a $100 contribution from himself.
George is most famous for being a prosecutor during the Casey Anthony trial, along with Jeff Ashton and Linda Burdick. Yet this isn't his first time running for a judicial race. According to the Florida Division of Elections, Frank George ran for Circuit Judge (Circuit 9, Group 12) in 2014, and lost to Margaret Schreiber. The Orlando Sentinel has
a recording on YouTube of their Op Ed team's interview with both George and Schreiber.
I'll update this diary as I find out more.
