While I agree with the #BlackLivesMatter movement, I disagree with their tactic to shut down the town hall meeting yesterday with Bernie Sanders and Martin O'Malley.
I watch a report about what happened today on UP with Steve Kornacki.
No one from Netroots did anything to stop the protesters from disrupting the town hall.
Netroots invited the candidates to Netroots Nation and the candidates were told, apparently, they would have a chance to speak, yet nothing was done to make sure tha happened.
What happened was totally predictable, given the frustration that is felt out in the country about militant policing and the deaths and injuries to black Americans at the hands of the police.
Do you think any Presidential candidate will ever set foot on a stage at Netroots Nation again? HELL NO!
What was accomplished by the shameful display yesterday?
