Just heard this on NPR. Convicted felon, ex-Governor of Virginia Bob McDonnell can have his pension benefits revoked because he is a convicted felon. Current Governor of Virginia Terry McAuliffe does not have to wait until McDonnell has exhausted his appeal process to revoke McDonnell's pension
This is possible due to legislation signed into law by, (um, let me see, got it right over here) then Governor of Virginia Bob McDonnell. Way to be tough on crime, Bob! Maybe should have thought that one through a bit more.
