Tomorrow - Tuesday, September 29th - rallies in support of Planned Parenthood are going to be held across the Country.
After months of outrageous attacks on women’s health and rights,
IT'S TIME TO FIGHT BACK!
On September 29, we are turning the world PINK — Planned Parenthood PINK.
Pink Out Day is our time to say: Listen to over a million Americans who are sick and tired of the relentless attacks on reproductive health care. Listen to the one in five American women who has received care at a Planned Parenthood health center. It will tell anti-abortion extremists and politicians that we are everywhere and we will not let them use fraud and deception to shut down the health centers so many women rely on for care. It will be women and men nationwide standing together to say: We’re not backing down, not today, not ever.
Be seen, be heard, be a part of this movement and this moment.....

I'll be attending a rally in Portland, Maine and am calling friends to help spread the word and join me.
You can too. But this is not just about rallies. It's about messaging and getting the word out that we are not going to tolerate having our rights and lives being threatened any longer.
If you can't attend in person, here's all you need to do on Pink Out Day:
Wear pink to show your support for women's health and for Planned Parenthood, and make sure your friends know why.
Share a #PinkOut selfie to #StandwithPP on social media.
Pink Out your Facebook and/or Twitter profile image.
Lives are literally on the line. Your support, in whatever form you can give it, is absolutely essential.
In states like Texas where they have closed down Planned Parenthood clinics, maternal death rates have sharply risen.
...Quality maternal health care, available contraception and access to abortion are the three pillars of reducing maternal deaths. The U.S. maternal mortality rate has doubled since 1990, even as more and more anti-choice political leaders amped up their campaigns and re-elections with promises, too often fulfilled, to limit access to contraception and abortion.
It's time to let all the American people know in every way possible that the United States is the only developed nation in which maternal mortality is rising, and with 60,000 near-deaths per year from pregnancy complications. African American women die seven times more often than their white counterparts. There is virtually no research to explain why this is so. Health care officials estimate that tragically the deaths are avoidable between 50 and 93 percent of the time.
Right now, Congress is once again threatening to defund Planned Parenthood, the largest provider of health care to U.S. women....
Planned Parenthood also provides life saving cancer screening and referrals for other health issues. 2.7 million people turn to Planned Parenthood for their health care needs.
It is their lives at stake. It is their lives that Republicans are so cavalierly throwing aside. We can't allow that to happen.
Won't you please attend a rally tomorrow or do whatever you can to support Planned Parenthood?
