We all seem to agree that Donald Trump is a liar. We all know he’s a charlatan. He’s a narcissist. He’s a self-serving snake-oil salesman. A few days ago Charlie Sheen appeared on the BBC’s The Graham Norton Show where he relayed a story about meeting Donald a few years ago and being given diamond cufflinks from Donald Trump, right off of Trump’s own wrist! A few months later Sheen brought the “diamonds” to an appraiser:
She took her loupe, spent about 4 seconds and kinda recoiled from it. She says, ‘in their finest moment this is cheap pewter and bad zirconias.’ And they’re stamped ‘Trump.’
The New York Post has found that Sheen isn’t the only person Trump has attempted to hoodwink with his less-than-lavish gifts.

A Trump source told The Post on Tuesday that after The Donald engaged in a fake ringside take-down of wrestling honcho Vince McMahon in 2007, he griped to the promoter that he lost one of his “Trump-stamped’’ cuff links worth $50,000.
The source said the links were actually valued at less than $100.
The New York Times related a story a couple of days ago about Donald Trump pulling the same thing on famed supervillain Roy Cohn.
After one Cohn coup, Mr. Trump rewarded him with a pair of diamond-encrusted cuff links and buttons in a Bulgari box.
And if Mr. Cohn did not always feel comfortable charging a friend for his services, Mr. Trump was hardly one to put up a fight.
Peter Fraser was Cohn’s lover in the last years of his life and got to keep many of Cohn’s possessions after Cohn died.
He did get to keep the cuff links Mr. Trump had given Mr. Cohn. Years later, Mr. Fraser had them appraised; they were knockoffs, he said.
Of course they were.
