...I don’t happen to have any particular fundraising deadline for my own County Commissioner campaign.
In fact, my most recent filing deadline was actually over a week ago; I turned in my post-Primary finance report earlier today, and am pleased to report that thanks in large part to many folks here, I’ve topped $10,800 from 225 unique donors, for an average donation of about $48 apiece.
However, if anyone else wants to donate, I certainly won't say no.
Meanwhile, to the best of my knowledge, my Republican opponent still stands by this position regarding The Nominee Who Shall Not Be Named®:
What else is happening?
Canvassing.
Lots and lots of canvassing.
Seriously...that, along with handing out (and soon, mailing) lit pieces is really all that’s left on my agenda from now through November. Oh, I have some lawn signs, of course, but as everyone says, lawn signs don’t vote. It’s really all about shoe leather and name recognition at this point.
I don't expect to match my opponent's war chest, but I'd like to at least have a fighting chance. With that in mind, please consider donating today!

In addition, please help out Nicole Bedi, running for State Representative here in Michigan’s 40th state House seat!
(in fact, if you can only spare a donation for one of us, please donate to her campaign instead of mine; while I obviously want to win my own race, retaking the state house is more important!)
(In addition, here are two other local candidates who could use some love):
