From #FeelTheBern to feelthebern.org, Bernie Sanders supporters have demonstrated a few unique characteristics while campaigning for their candidate. Passion, among other things, that has driven the creativity of so many Bernie supporters that we now have apps like Field The Bern and Rally, as well as volunteer-run websites like feelthebern.org as well has numerous social media accounts like Latinos for Bernie and Millennials for Bernie. Some of these groups have even turned into their own organization with actual volunteer-email lists like People for Bernie.
My point is, for someone who seemed so "fringe" to the pundits back in April, he's certainly brought out the unique talents of his volunteers as well as the excitement and passion.
About a month ago, I came across #MarchForBernie - a nation-wide, multiple-event march that demonstrates one last time before the caucuses, just how many people - and how driven these people are - support Bernie Sanders.
From Phoenix to NYC, Denver to Chicago, Los Angeles to Boston, there are around 30 different events going on all around January 23rd to bring people together - without the official campaign - to show the establishment that we are not powerless and we will not stand for the abuse we've taken for so long.
At the same time this is going on, Bernie Sanders and his official campaign will be holding thousands of events across the country to hear a national address by the candidate @ 6pm EST to talk about what it's going to take from all of us to win this election and address the moral crisis that comes from almost all of the wealth and income in this country going to the top 1 percent.
If Bernie's 'political revolution' was about bringing people together to become active in politics, well, what else do we have to do to show the billionaires and the establishment that we're ready to do that?
A #MarchForBernie filled with thousands of people across the entire country, blue states and red, should send a message to everyone in the establishment that they SHOULD be worried about us.
