No we can’t leave fossil fuels in the ground.
No we can’t transition to a renewable-energy economy.
No we can’t retain a planet habitable for humans.
No we can’t turn back income inequality.
No we can’t turn back wealth inequality.
No we can’t stop the 1% from raking in 99% of the income and wealth generated each year.
No we can’t tell the 1% that our politicians are not on their payroll.
No we can’t break up big banks.
No we can’t stop Wall Street siphoning wealth offshore and out of the constructive economy.
No we can’t stop bailing out Wall Street when they defraud taxpayers and destroy the economy.
No we can’t punish anyone on Wall Street when they defraud taxpayers and destroy the economy.
No we can’t stand up to corporate power.
No we can’t stop our Presidential candidates taking money from SuperPACs.
No we can’t have a $15 an hour minimum wage.
No we can’t stop making “mistakes” like voting for the war in Iraq.
No we can't stop characterizing our vote for the war in Iraq as a vote against war in Iraq.
No we can’t promise we won’t be “forgainst” wars to come in Iraq, Syria, Iran, or wherever.
No we can’t decrease military spending and the military industrial complex.
No we can’t stop “evolving” toward wherever the polls and corporate money want us to “evolve”.
No we can’t have democratic socialism.
No we can’t advocate strongly and consistently against corporation-written “Free-Trade Agreements”.
No we can’t roll back the government/corporate surveillance state.
No we can’t have a Democratic Presidential nominee who is a consistent, true progressive.
Never. Ever.
