According to CBS News, the FBI and police department have been involved in a rather large investigation that included road closures this past Tuesday in Liberal, Kansas.
Three right-wing militia members have been arrested for allegedly planning attacks at a mosque and a housing complex in Kansas, CBS News has learned.
The attack would have specifically targeted Somali refugees, a source told CBS News.
In a statement, the acting U.S. attorney for Kansas said charges would be announced at a press conference later Friday against three people “in a case involving a major investigation.”
