I haven’t written anything on here in years, although I have been lurking and reading. What I have done in my minimal spare time is answer a few crazies on Yahoo! once in a while — it’s shooting fish in the seafood department but it humors me. No excuses. However, a few weeks back I noticed that one of the comments that I had written was changed after I published it.
It had been a few days, but my anti-Trump comment had been amended with some crazy anti-Clinton garbage. It freaked me out, so I deleted it and changed my password. My husband TOTALLY freaked out about it, and it got me thinking just how scary it was that somehow an anti-Trump comment had been altered after the fact. He said I should “report it to Yahoo!”, which I don’t really know how to do. But I decided that if it happened again, I would bring it up to you guys.
You guessed it — it happened again. And it was several days after I published it, but I don’t know what to make of it.
Not my most clever comment ever, but hey, I’d had a couple of beers. The point is, you can see the comment I was answering, and you can see how the bottom half of my comment is tacked on well after I hit SAVE and moved on with my life. This is odd, and I’m not tech savvy enough to understand what this means. Is my computer hacked? And why would anyone POSSIBLY have any interest in hacking into my comments — not like I’m a celebrity or anyone particularly important enough to be targeted. Is there some kind of Bot that goes around making all of Yahoo! comments pro-Trump?
You guys are my intelligence base when it comes to this sort of thing. Who knows what this means and/or what I should do? Has this happened to other people who get their jollies mocking the mouth breathers in Yahoo Trumpland???
