Today’s WaPo has a very interesting piece about how someone used a computer program to make music from the debates.
. . . Hannah Davis finds music where others wouldn’t think to listen.
The computer programmer developed software several years ago that turns bodies of text into musical compositions based on their mood and emotion. She’s used it to make music out of novels that range from “Alice in Wonderland” to “A Clockwork Orange” to “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.”
Now, Davis has trained the software, called TransProse, on the presidential debates — and found the contrast between Trump and Clinton transcends their politics.
The tunes produced by both Hillary and the Orange Phantom during the debates show an amazing and marked contrast.
It is worth the 10 minutes or so that it will take to listen to the Music of the 2016 Debates. Then you can decide what you want to hear for the next four years.
Haven’t posted a diary in years. Hope this goes through.
