The NY Times was a leading factor in the depression of the Democratic vote, with its endless page-one Clinton email stories that frequently misrepresented the facts — such as saying she was under criminal investigation when she wasn’t, then posting lotsa corrections that no one saw. TV networks frequently pick up page one stories from the Times, as do other publications.
Meanwhile, Trump’s connections to the Russians, including the most recent admission by a Russian official, were positioned on page A17 or wherever.
The Times knows this. This week, they sent out a letter to subscribers basically touting how great a job they did during the campaign, when everyone I know who subscribes to them is now canceling their subscription.
The Times needs to feel that this past election’s coverage, like their complete mishandling of the Iraq news, cannot be tolerated.
I urge you to cancel your subscription today, if you have one. And write them a letter why. You can still read it online for some days each month, as well as many other fine publications.
