The DNC could have brought us utopia. We’d take the Court. Heal the sick. Raise the dead. But they just couldn’t give up those wall street banker bribes. You know, the rich bankers who Hillary made a speech to telling them what they bought, and wouldn’t tell me what it was.
What dismissive presumptuousness!
So I became a Berner.
In the comments after another diary today, someone perceptive said:
A major feature of the primary was the sheer volume of Bernie voters explaining in great detail why they could not support Clinton, ever. It was remarkable. Most of them ended up voting for her because of TRUMP, but I am sure there are those that didn’t.
Yeah, well I’m one of the ones who didn’t. Around convention time, I wrote my first diary here under my (almost) real name. It warned that they can nominate Hillary, fine. They own the party, not the people. But if the DNC doesn’t stop badmouthing Bernie and ignoring the progressives, a whole lot of us will be pissed off and give the finger by not voting at all.
I would have voted for her anyway just to stop the orangeutan, until Kos BANNED ME for saying that Berners might not vote unless the DNC stops ridiculing Bernie and the left. A moderator message posted before my Diary disappeared said, “Oh, you’re threatening us, are you? Bye-bye!”
That was the final insult.
I didn’t vote—just like a lot of grossly belittled and disrespected progressives.
So no President Hillary, you smug, arrogant bastards.
Bye-bye!
