Throughout his campaign, Donald Trump kept saying that the election was rigged. Maybe he was right. Only in the wrong direction. Trump won several normally “Blue” states by 1%. The reason given was because rural voters voted in larger numbers than expected or ever before.
Everyone was watching what was happening in the big cities, but nobody was paying any attention to what was happening in the rural areas. Could it be that the Russians had found a way to hack into the voting machines there and added votes? Nobody would be surprised if Trump won those areas, since they were traditionally Republican, but what if the margins were increased enough to swing a whole state collectively?
Or, it could have been local election officials who either added Trump votes or somehow deleted Clinton votes. Who’s looking? Nobody. There have been stories about how voting machines can be rigged for a long time. Maybe they’re true. Who knows, since nobody has looked.
It’s also very odd that almost all the polls showed Clinton with a substantial lead. There wasn’t hardly any talk about who would win, but about how big a landslide Clinton would get. There was even speculation about Clinton turning Red states Blue, as in Texas or Arizona. Is it really possible that all these polling organizations got it so very wrong? If they did, they should all close up shop since they serve no useful purpose.
