“If only Bernie…”
“If only Hillary had been likeable…”
“If only the Democrats had appealed to the soul of existentially disaffected stupid white men…”
You can keep your hand-wringing post-mortems.
Our candidate won by a million votes. Proclaiming what went wrong is like standing over a corpse riddled with a thousand bullets and saying
“If only she'd gotten a flu shot…”
The voting machines are pure hacking bait. The IEEE electronic voting standards committee was hijacked by Diebold and their competitors, and preposterous standards were set more than ten years ago. If Diebold’s ATM machines were as easy to hack, BofA wouldn’t stand for it for half a working day.
Any 400 lb. guy in his bedroom could've changed the election, and a professional Russian or GOP hacker would’ve known just where to hack to get those razor-thing margins that stole the whole thing.
See how outraged you are that someone actually said that the election was stolen? Until the Democrats start taking vote hacking very seriously all the post-mortems in the world won't stop Giant Orange Hemorrhoids from stealing the game.
We can't stop electronic voting.
We can, with tremendous effort, require that it be done with unhackable blockchain technology.
