Brave, brave Sen. Pat Toomey, waiting to the very last minute, finger in the air, to make his decision about voting for Donald Trump.
Toomey's campaign on Tuesday morning announced that the senator from Zionsville will not cast his own vote until 6:45 p.m., 75 minutes before the polls close in Pennsylvania.
He has a busy day ahead of him, to be sure, and anyone willing to give him the benefit of the doubt will chalk up the timing of his voting plans to a demanding schedule.
His Democratic opponent, Katie McGinty, however, isn't giving him the benefit of the doubt. Her campaign said it's simply an effort by Toomey to delay publicly disclosing who he's voting for in the presidential race.
Given how long he's been dancing around this one, he gets no benefit of no doubt. He has no principles, no integrity, no gumption. And no place in the Senate anymore.
History will judge us all by what we do in the final hours of this campaign. Please, sign up with MoveOn to call voters in the decisive states in the battles for the White House and the Senate.
