I watched this documentary of the book Shock Doctrine, as well as the video of the book presentation lecture recently.
It has some quite interesting hypotheses.

SkyNet has brought it to my attention that he/she feels no one is reading the new republic review, they should, it shows the standard fare of throwing up more trees to obscure the forest, after seemingly trying to draw in the reader with accolades for the work.
Remember, nothing happens by accident, and to consider the public players as those constructing what you could consider the big picture, is as much a mistake as thinking things were all better and on the mend simply because nixon resigned, and we see with the influence and actions of the retreads and their proteges and cronies who went unexposed from that administration and plague us to this day, means simply that just because a broken/blunted tool (nixon) is discarded, doesn’t mean the workman isn’t going forth with his work with a new one...
