Not all bad news but this was beyond the pale.
I had to drive over an hour and had to give up what I usually do Wednesdays (volunteer work at a cat sanctuary) to get there. Seem on time then it hits: an IBS issue. I try to wiggle in my seat so only gas escapes. Nope. Get my rollator and have a major task in the bathroom.
When I reach the office, I am told I am 17 mins late, they are “running behind” and they have canceled my appointment. I’m too stunned to react but as I drive home I got angrier and angrier.
Had to fight with my mother’s “how did it go?” until I snap. So she calls them, they tell her I was 20 mins late but she says cancel any new appt and mail my results. I am DONE with them.
Need a new LLMD.
Keeping going with Network Chiropractic Care and did 5 treatments of Octagam. Not seeing where I’m getting better. Some say they see it. I don’t.
In short, frustration abides. Just SSDD. Unfortunately, old LLMD was antibiotic driven. I can’t seem to get better via them. "The best” docs mentioned to me (in NJ) are very expensive and I’ve already been spending more than my SSDI benefits allow.
Where is the progress I thought I’d see by now???

Just “fired” my FB Lyme Support Group, now, too. After this event, no one suggested another doctor like I asked AND I got ppl actually defending the doctors/practice. Apparently, I was supposed to go in there as I exited the car because being on time for their convenience exceeds a woman’s personal need to avoid infection from not cleaning up, among other things. I got zero opportunity to explain anything, so it had to be my fault. I also got accused of lying that I never have waited 2 hrs to see a doctor. I have. If it wasn’t with my mother, it was without.
