Did you know that Daddy Cliven now has three sons in jail?
--Ammond Bundy
--Ryan Bundy
--Cliven Lance Bundy
That last one, daddy’s namesake, is probably a new name to you. It was to me.
Federal agents arrested [Cliven Lance] Bundy in the Jean Dry Lake bed after spotting a group of all-terrain vehicles riding outside their permitted area on public lands, according to the Bureau of Land Management. Agents stopped the vehicles, and Bundy was driving one for a tour group. source

A son of Bunkerville cattle rancher Cliven Bundy was sent to prison Wednesday, less than two weeks after being dropped from a specialty court program.
Cliven Lance Bundy, 35, was ordered to serve between two and eight years in prison on felony burglary and firearms charges, which he pleaded guilty to in February 2013. source
A fourth son, Mel Bundy, a gold miner in Nevada, was at the refuge and from various reports appears to have been in on the original takeover which begs the question—if he was, in fact, one of the several that took over the refuge originally--will he be similarly charged as his brothers Ammon and Ryan?
According to Ryan Payne, also now stuck in a Portland jail, he worked with Mel Bundy on coordinating the militia with the Bundy family in the Cliven standoff of 2014. In March of 2014, Mel purportedly accompanied Cliven and Ammon to the Nevada legislature to lobby for a bill to prohibit federal ownership of lands in the state.
I have searched, but haven’t found anything addressing when Mel left the refuge. Maybe he flew the coop after poo hit the fan.
Sounds like they are going to have to build a separate prison just for the Bundy family. Let the naming suggestions begin.

The Harney County Committee of Safety hasn’t been heard from lately, so I thought this January 31, 2016 piece of fiction was interesting:
Might be good if they could spell Marshall.
Who knew the FBI was a private corporation hired by the International Monetary Fund! This Committee must be part of the 3% that the good people of Harney refuse to own but unfortunately do. More tin foil!
Another diary is up regarding the Grand Jury Indictments returned on these criminals today by seesdifferent, here. I suspect a paper blizzard from all sorts of places over the next little while. The FBI has estimated that forensic work on the refuge, once fully vacated, will take 4-6 weeks. Sadly, that means that the beginning of migration will be missed by scientists and wildlife enthusiasts. Hopefully things will return to normal enough by early April that the 35th Harney County Migratory Bird Festival can take place, as planned, April 8-10.

Last remaining working telephone to the PopTart (aka David Fry) & Loons cut.
Fry also told OPB that the FBI warned them if he or the others inside gave comments to press groups, they would lose access to incoming calls.
OPB’s line of communication with the militants was cut Wednesday. source
Tweet of the Day:
Indictments to be unsealed today, so should be an interesting day!
