Bully for you, Hillary Clinton!
You scored Madeleine Albright and Gloria Steinem to endorse you for president over Bernie Sanders. Well, "you" meaning your gender, and "endorse" meaning insulting the decision making of 52% of the electorate, female voters (July 2015 U.S. Census Bureau report). Ms. Albright, 78 year old first female secretary of state, said of the fight for women's equality, but specifically while speaking to support Hillary for president, "There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other!” Ms. Steinem, 81 year old famous feminist spokeswoman, said of younger women backing Senator Sanders, “When you’re young, you’re thinking, ‘Where are the boys? The boys are with Bernie.’ ”
Mrs. Clinton, "President" is not inherently male or female, straight or gay, or any color of the spectrum. Yes, we as a people have a LOT to overcome to eliminate prejudice, but prejudice AGAINST someone for any of these traits and prejudice SUPPORTING someone specifically for any of these traits is tantamount to the same thing in my book. The highest office in the United States is about the issues and who is best to take our country forward. We as voters will always have differences in vision on how we steer the nation, but that is the reason we debate and we vote. But we should do so solely on the issues. The issues of state. Not the issues of what reproductive anatomy is under our opponent's clothes, who they love, or the frequency of light reflected from their skin. NO person, who you claim you want to represent no less, should be belittled and condemned to hell, or any belief system's negative afterlife, for not blindly pledging allegiance to you, or any person.
In a fashion of yours to which I have become familiar, you may say how you agree with the above sentiments on equality and judgement, but your actions are not representative. You did not personally utter the contemptuous statements I mentioned, but I have not heard you walk them back either. In the case of Ms. Albright, you even laughed and outright thanked her. Your campaign, like so many others before you, male AND female, has become just another about winning at any cost.
Yes, Hillary Clinton, kudos on being a sexist bully.
