The word has come down, after tomorrow, no bad words against Hillary. That means a lot of people are going to get banned or they are going to leave on their on volition. I have already found a couple nice places to hang out.
I will probably continue to visit here but not write. If I do, I am going to follow the rules and not say any naughties about the great one, or his chosen one. My main reason for coming back is to see how the great purge goes. To see how long it takes for some very good writers and people to be “disappear”.
But there is another reason I will check in. I like the sound of echos. You know there are to types of echos. One is the kind you hear in an big empty room or a valley. It has a certain charm to it, at least for me.
Then there is another kind of echo. It is the kind that you hear in an echo chamber. A lot of people at DK have always derided the GOP for living in an echo chamber, only believing what they hear, and want to hear. It has a re-enforcing quality to it. You start to believe the things you hear because you hear nothing else.
DK is going to become an echo chamber after tomorrow, or once the purge is completed. It will be a sad thing to see. But like that car accident, it will be hard to look away.
The other down side to echo chambers is that when they get too loud it becomes hard to think, and you get a headache. That is why I will then go where legitimate discourse is still allowed. That and to find out what is really happening in the world.
