Just when I thought Bernie supporters could not sink lower than they have, they post pictures of dead Iraqi kids, and blame Hillary Clinton for them.
There’s a one-line mention of Bush and Cheney, but even the diary title calls those still, silent faces Hillary Clinton’s “legacy.”
There is no justification for this. There is no response to something so far beyond the pale. There are no anti-Bernie diaries showing the ravaged bodies of the children in Newton, whose deaths are attributable to this country’s horrible gun laws — a situation that Mr. Sanders has been on the wrong side of time and time again. No diaries about the Sandinista’s brutal campaign of terror against the Miskito native peoples, at a time when Bernie Sanders was visiting them and praising their little socialist paradise. No diaries demonstrating that Bernie Sanders supports armed conflict in the middle-east, because in spite of his rhetoric, he voted to pay for the bullets and the bombs that caused such destruction there.
It is only attributable to two things — desperation, because he is losing. And something worse than desperation — being so convinced of your own purity and righteousness that any means justify the ends you seek. Smearing Hillary Clinton, a mother and a grandmother by posting pictures of dead babies and blaming her for it? Bernie as evidenced by that type of argument and that type of supporter is not someone I want near the oval office.
NOTE: This diary has been edited to remove some inflammatory rhetoric on the advice of commenters who didn’t appreciate it.
