Missouri Democrats took control of the state Senate floor around 4:30 PM CT Monday to filibuster an anti-LGBT "religious freedom" measure, and they haven't let up since. The initiative, which would be put to a popular vote later this year, would allow businesses like bakeries and florists to decline to provide goods and services to same-sex weddings based on the owners’ religious beliefs.

Here's the Associated Press' latest update as of today at about 9:30 AM CT:
Missouri Democrats are vowing to keep talking to block a vote on a proposed constitutional amendment granting greater religious protections to some business owners and individuals who object to gay marriage.
Debate on the measure began around 4:20 p.m. Monday and stretched without a break into Tuesday. Some opponents vowed to carry on past the 24-hour mark.
Republican Senate leaders also pledged to press ahead until they reach a vote.
If the Senate approves the measure, it would still need House approval before appearing on the ballot in either the August primaries or November election.
