Based on tonight’s win in Michigan, I did a little playing around with the map and huge amounts of assumptions. Too detailed to go into here, but to sum up: I gave Clinton everything in the South, including Maryland, Delaware and Florida, plus Massachusetts (which she’s already won), AND New York (20 states in all) and Bernie everything else (30 states).
Note that I pretended that all the states were “winner take all,” since I wasn’t about to take the time to predict allocation of delegates in each state. Presumably this would be a wash as both candidates would be subject to this. Or maybe not. Would somebody with more time wish to do this properly?
Bernie still comes out on top in this highly subjective scenario.
A silly, unrigorous exercise? Perhaps. Perhaps not.
