This is short—I’m thinking about writing piece, the content of which I’m not going to discuss here in any detail. What I’d like from the community is this:
What does it mean to be “anti-Zionist”?
UPDATE: I’ve removed a paragraph so as not to put ideas in people’s heads.
Pro-I and Pro-P folks are welcome to enter the diary and please try not to be obnoxious to each other.
In this diary, if you disagree with a comment and feel the need to respond, please do so only if you have something well-thought-out and substantive to say (i.e. no stupid wisecracks or derailments). I’m not looking for long angry threads, or too much intra-diary debate. Just some perspectives.
This isn’t a discussion, despite the title, on whether, whether not, or the degree to which “anti-Zionism” and “anti-Semitism” can/cannot be conflated—but I want to see how the left is defining a term. People can tell where I stand by looking at past comment history/diaries—but I”m going to leave my own input out of this, and for this diary I probably will do my best NOT to respond (different from the usual rules).
Thanks!
