Bernie Sanders has been winning primaries by landslides, he’s going to win the Democratic nomination, he’s going to win the Presidency because the people are many and their hands are all empty, because the pellets of poison are flooding their waters, because the corrupted media and the criminal bankers and the corporate politicians are ten-thousand talkers whose tongues are all broken.
Americans aren’t listening to them anymore.
Thirty years of their noise is thirty years too many.
Bernie is going to speak truth to power all the way to the White House because this isn’t America anymore, it’s an Oligarchy where hunger is ugly and souls are forgotten, because “economic recovery” is a highway of diamonds with nobody on it, because mass incarceration is a black branch of injustice with blood that keeps dripping, because we haven’t been in that Promised Land of trickle-down prosperity, we’ve been ten-thousand miles in the mouth of a graveyard, exiled and silenced and sentenced to life in this Penal Colony of Kafka that used to be America.
That’s why Bernie Sanders is running for the Presidency.
That’s why he’s going to win.
The momentum of his campaign, the huge crowds at his rallies, the massive campaign contributions he’s being given over and over again by the working people of this country are the sound of a thunder that’s roaring out a warning to the corrupt political establishment . . .
Bernie is leading a political revolution, millions of people are joining it nationwide because we’ve seen government of the corrupt, by the corrupt, and for the corrupt and we’ve seen the consequences of it, we’ve seen the militarization of the police and we’ve seen the brutality of it, we’ve seen regime change in the Middle East and we’ve seen the death toll of it, we’ve seen where the home in the valley meets the damp dirty prison right here in America, we’ve seen it in every land where corporate profit is all that matters anymore, where human rights and human lives are erased by corporate executioners whose faces are always well hidden.
Too many Democrats have stumbled on the side of the misty mountains of complicity, too many have walked and then crawled on the crooked highways of “centrism”, too many have cast us out into the seven sad forests of austerity and collected SuperPac cash for it, too many have sailed the dozen dead oceans of deceit and called it public service, too many refuse to see the waves of catastrophic climate change that could drown the whole world.
Bernie Sanders is not one of those Democrats.
He is one of us.
He always has been.
He always will be.
He is our voice, he is the voice of the conscience of this country, of everyone who hears one person starve and many people laughing, of everyone who sees newborn justice with wild wolves all around it, of everyone who hears the song of the poets who died in the gutter where the establishment tossed them. We are singing their song of human dignity now, we are going to keep singing for the silenced and the oppressed until everyone in America hears their song, until the whole world hears their song.
We are not going to be silenced here, we are not going to be silenced anywhere, we’re telling the truth about the corrupt political establishment and we’re going to keep telling the truth about it, we’re going to tell it and think it and speak it and breathe it, we are going to write it across the sky so all souls can see it.
Bernie Sanders for President
