When scam artists call Americans on the phone and trick them into divulging private financial information, we rightly call it theft, and we rightly call them criminals. If and when the authorities find them, they go to prison.
The bottom line is that these scumbags get people to divulge private financial information by knowingly lying about what they intend to use it for.
And so, here’s where Trump and his fake Trump University comes into the picture:
The playbooks instructed staff to have students fill out forms detailing their personal assets, ostensibly to provide targeted recommendations for investment. The playbooks, however, said the real purpose was to determine which students were good targets for the most expensive programs.

The playbooks show that Trump stole personal financial information from Americans because they show that he knowingly and intentionally lied to Americans about why he wanted that private information and how he actually intended to use it.
Donald Trump is no different than the scumbag scam artist that calls your grandmother and lies to her in an attempt to get her to turn over her private financial info. And he should be treated by the police exactly the same way we treat all such scumbags.
