My son has just published a brilliant near-future sci-fi novel on Amazon entitled “Genesis,” and proud as I am of my son, the novel IS REALLY BRILLIANT. The action is set in and around Seattle, in a near future that’s not dystopian, but it’s full of problems as well as marvelous imagined tech and entertainment advances. And it’s a love story (with unexpected twists). Here’s reactions from Amazon readers:
“Genesis is Sci-Fi with an edgy, hip, humorous twist. Turner creates characters that are real and builds a story that won’t let you go. This is a story that will draw readers from all genres. I LOVED it!”
“Genesis is a fast and thrilling read full of suspense, sharp-witted humor and hip, compelling characters. I highly recommend it.”
“This book moves faster than Space Mountain through a terrain of corporate malevolence and an accidental hero. Matt Turner creates memorable characters quickly, puts them in danger, and gives them the wits to have a fighting chance to survive. He’s also deft at metaphor with descriptions and comparisons that are fresh and funny.”
Here’s Matt’s own write-up of the book:
“Tech icon Aiden Markusson has it all—the lake house, the luxury car, the fastest growing company in Seattle, and the love of his life wearing his engagement ring. But his perfect life comes apart at the seams when he begins to experience blinding headaches and strange bursts of physical ability. Suspicion and paranoia lead him down a rabbit hole of corporate conspiracy where he finds out he’s not losing him mind, it’s much worse than that.
Genesis is a mind-bending thrill ride through a near future where Aiden must face the possibility that he is a bio-fabricated being created by a ruthless multinational corporation. The closer Aiden gets to the truth, the more he becomes something unprecedented, a being more powerful than anyone thought possible. If he can learn to harness his newfound abilities in time, Aiden might find a way to save the woman he loves, his species, and possibly... the future of the human race.”
Genesis is available now on Amazon for $3.99, and for any Kindle Unlimited subscribers, it’s FREE.
