A lot of people have criticized Donald Trump for some of his recent statements and tweets in light of the tragedy in Florida. But upon doing some historical research, I was surprised to find some quotes from history which are very similar to statements made by Trump! Unfortunately they are not being mentioned in the media.
"Appreciate the congrats about the Confederates seceding from the Union. But I don't want congrats, I want toughness and vigilance..." Abraham Lincoln, 1860
The civil war was a tough time, Lincoln was right to pat himself on the back for predicting the treason of the Confederates in this little-known quote.
"Appreciate the congrats for being right about Brutus stabbing me in the back. But I don't want congrats. Et tu, Brute?" Julius Caesar, 44 BC
It was clearly important in this instance for Julius Caesar to point out that he had been correct, even though he was just about to die because he had been stabbed by Brutus. Fortunately we have not lost his last words, thanks to Shakespeare, who witnessed them and recorded them on paper.
I have proven to be far more correct about Nazi aggression than anyone-and it’s not even close! Hopefully everyone will vote for the Conservative Party in today’s election. Winston Churchill, July 1940
The United Kingdom was under attack, and Winston Churchill was resolute. In his typically British understated way, he took credit for his insight into the Nazi problem.
“I am being proven right about massive vaccinations—the doctors lied. Save our children & their future.” Franklin Roosevelt 1940
Although FDR was stricken with Polio at a young age for which no vaccine was available at the time, and thus, spent many of his private moments in the White House in a wheel chair, he was still smart enough to see through all that fancy scientific mumbo-jumbo and “theories.”
Clearly the lame-stream media is either unaware of Trump’s greatness or ignoring it so they can help Shrillary (haahhahaha) Clinton. Spread the word so people learn about the truth!
