I’m posting this mainly because I would like to see some answers, preferably real ones.
Imagine that Sanders had the clear majority of pledged delegates and that Clinton (1) refused to concede and (2) refused to congratulate Sanders,
How would Sanders supporters then describe Clinton?
What words and terms would they use?
So why is this kind of behavior ok for Sanders?
I get that his supporters admire him, but if you are an admirer, how would you talk to someone you knew, a close friend or loved one, if that person did that kind of thing?
Would you cheer that person on?
Or, and I understand that the sports analogy does not work perfectly, if your children were on a team and narrowly lost a big game would you praise them if they refused to given any kind of congratulations to the victor? Your daughter or son lost a close game and refused to admit loss or congratulate the winning team. Would you urge them on?
Meanwhile, the longer Sanders gets away with this the more he in effect gives space for conspiracy theories to bloom, and when is he actually going to make good on his repeated promise to campaign vigorously against Trump?
In December 2016?
