So this is an interesting story.
Apparently a large proportion of “Leave” voters in the “Brexit” were voting “Leave” as a protest against the establishment. They never thought that “Leave” would pass. That’s just ridiculous! And dangerous! So no worries about voting for “Leave” because hey, it’ll help get the establishment’s attention while allowing us to keep our comfortable status quo. Endow our stable lives with a stylish edge of populist protest. Not going to happen, you know…. just want to shake up the cushy status quo- that status quo that has given us so much- before we return to our iPhones, cappuccinos, and pensioner holidays.
Whoops.
One voter, Adam from Manchester, told the BBC: "My vote -- I didn't think was going to matter too much because I thought we were just going to remain.
"The David Cameron resignation has blown me away to be honest. I think the period of uncertainty we're going to have for the next few months has been magnified, so I'm quite worried."
Dumbass.
"This morning the reality is actually hitting in and the regret is hitting in," she said Friday. "I wish I had the opportunity to vote again, simply because I would do things differently."
Idiot.
I don’t know, I’m going to see what happens. Some people feel Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately if he gets in. Then things will really, you know, explode.
Imbecile…. oh wait. That’s not a “Brexit” voter. That’s Susan Sarandon, high priestess of the “Bernie or Bust” movement.
If ever there was a warning for the “Bernie or Bust” movement, it’s the “Brexit.” Don’t vote for Trump in protest and then just assume we Hillary voters are gonna clean up your mess. Your vote counts, whether it’s a protest vote or a real vote. It counts. And the end result of whatever electoral tantrum you start will be real, wide, bad, and impossible to reverse.
