I don’t have any issues with activists or with voters who support Bernie Sanders. If you want to vote for Bernie Sanders, fine, do it. Enjoy.
The issue I have with Bernie Sanders is that his first fight seems to be with the Democratic Party, including Barack Obama.
These are the same tactics used by the Tea Party and Ted Cruz. Ted Cruz made his bones warring with Republicans, not with Democrats. Ted Cruz is totally ineffective at attacking Democrats. He sounds wildly out of touch with reality when he does. Ted Cruz consolidated the true believers on the right wing and seems to relish his place as senate outsider. He has done nothing to advance conservative principles, if anything he had marginalized conservatives. Which I like. Bernie Sanders seems to be heading the tactical direction of Ted Cruz.
I don’t really know if Bernie Sanders would be effective at beating Donald Trump because he rarely makes that his first fight. He seems to constantly bang the drum against Democrats and Hillary Clinton. It makes me questions if he is truly interested in moving this country to the left or just interested in fighting with Democrats. He seems compelled to air his procedural beefs and use threats to scare Democrats into cowing to his will. Gee that really reminds me of Ted Cruz...
His supporters are now saying the “system is rigged” a total Trump line.
The system is not “rigged”, Bernie Sanders could have won Super Tuesday, he could have won Iowa, he could have won Florida, he could have won a lot of primaries but he did not, he lost them. Bernie Sanders got beat by Hillary Clinton and he does not like it.
If Bernie Sanders had stuck to fighting Republicans and not Hillary Clinton he might have won the primary and solidified himself as a liberal lion taking the place of Ted Kennedy. His lack of strategy and practical thinking has cost him the primary and his place in history.
Too bad because most every Democrat agrees with his principles — just not his tactics.
